We Need Your Help!
There are many homebound and low income senior citizens in southern middle Tennessee who qualify for home delivered meals. However, given their growing number and the limited funding available for this program, the South Central Human Resource Agency is not able to provide meals to everyone in need.
We are asking for contributions from our local communities to help us serve more senior citizens. We believe that every senior citizen should have a hot, nutritious noon time meal. The Home Delivered Meals program is critical for those low income seniors who can’t rely on the support of families or friends.
Make a Donation
Here’s how you can make a difference with a tax deductible gift:
- $37.05 will sponsor 5 meals a week for a senior
- $51.87 will sponsor 7 meals a week for a senior
To make a donation by mail, please make your check payable to SCHRA Nutrition and mail to: P.O. Box 638, Fayetteville, TN 37334. You can also make a secure donation online via PayPal.
Volunteers Make the Difference!
Home delivery volunteers are needed to deliver noon time meals to the homebound seniors in our communities. Congregate volunteers are needed to help serve the congregate noon time meals at their local meal sites. Volunteering one hour a month provides a great service to the community as well much needed socialization for those seniors whose lives you are touching through your efforts.
